It will Get Better

The weather here has been really crummy lately, and it's been affecting my body quite a bit. It's making it hard to get things done. What makes it even harder is the fact that I've had to stop taking most of the medications I normally need. With my BA surgery coming up in five days, they don't want me taking too many medications.

Not having anything with caffeine in it doesn't help either, but it's the only way I can get any sleep at night.

Continuing To Work On Everything

We all know how life can be. One day you’re doing fantastic, and the next you’re scratching your head wondering, “What the heck happened?” That’s been my life most of the time — trying to figure things out as I go.

I don’t have a weekly plan or a perfect to-do list yet, but I’m working on that too. As my partner always says, “Baby steps, Seamus, baby steps.” And honestly, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

For example, today I spent some time working on shooting video, and I was actually pretty satisfied with the progress. I feel like I’m finally moving in the right direction. I also realized something important: you don’t need $10,000 worth of video and audio equipment to make a great video. Turns out, I already have everything I need.

I might make some videos showing all of it. We’ll see.

FINALLY!

Finally—warm weather! For the past three days it’s been in the 70s. I opened the bedroom window so Susie could hop up and hang out, and she loves it. Jackie has been a real trooper, helping us get things done like the kitchen and bedroom, and when she has more energy, she even puts away the clean laundry.

In other news, I’ve figured out how to make my videos look better, and I can do 4K without any problems. I tested it with a clip I already had, and it turned out fantastic. While I won’t be able to post them directly here, I can still share the links—so I guess that’s about as good as it’s going to get.

A Cold Spring

It's been a cold spring here and due to that I've been sick on and off Jackie as well for that reason I'm holding off on any plans to do any learning maybe when things warm up this is on top of working  on other stuff ksuch as case management and getting people to help us
