A Better Understanding

​"I finally truly understand what 'disabled' means for me. It means intentionally choosing where to spend every ounce of my energy. It means embracing the equipment that helps me navigate the world, like my new rolling walker. I’m still learning the ropes and I know I’ll make mistakes along the way, but I’ve made peace with that. I’m moving forward."
